Walnut cutting board

Hi everyone.Iwanted to show this walnut cutting board that i recently finished for a customer.This was a large cutting board measuring 16x24 and about 1-3/8" inch thick.I went threw several different walnut boards that i had to come up with this pattern.This is a edge grain cutting board and i wanted it to look like if you had a roughly 8 inch round of wood and you split it in half,folded it out,it would appear that you were looking at each half of the round from the tree.Walnut is such a diverse hardwood because of all the different lights and darks you can blend together to always come up with something unique and attractive.Thanks for stopping by.
